Fact #1:  The coldest game in NFL history was played on December 31, 1967 at Lambeau Field.  The NFL Championship (the "Ice Bowl"), Packers vs. Cowboys was -13 degrees with a wind chill of -48 degrees. The Packers won 21-17.

Fact #2:  The AFL & NFL finally fully merged at the beginning of the 1970 season, although the merger was initially announced on June 8, 1966.  To even the conferences, the Browns, Colts, and Steelers moved from the NFL to the AFC.
