Donnie Stefanski “Yooperman” was inducted into our organization in the very First Draft Class of 2008 as the Detroit Lions Ultimate Fan, and was inducted into the Pro Football's Ultimate Fan Association "Ring of Honor" in 2020.

Donnie was awarded the 4 Star - True Blue Arrow Award Salute" (Presidents Choice Award) in 2009 - as awarded to the PFUFA member who throughout the previous year has best personified Our Mission Statement of "TO PROMOTE THE FELLOWSHIP OF ALL FANS, ENCOURAGE SPORTSMANSHIP AND SUPPORT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES."

Donnie was a season ticket holder for the Lions since 1994, and he traveled 750 round trips to attend home games from Goetzville, MI (UP).  Yooperman attended over 200 consecutive home games becoming one of the NFL’s ironman super fan.

Donnie was a Man’s Man!  He felt that the Lions and PFUFA where part of his Family.  We loved him dearly.  He surely will be missed but never forgotten.  In that big football stadium in the sky Donnie, AKA Yooperman, is leading the tailgate with all our other fallen members & fans who passed before Him.  Donnie passed on September 3, 2019.
