 PRO FOOTBALL'S ULTIMATE FAN ASSOCIATION

RING OF HONOR MEMBER

AWARDED POSTHUMOUSLY

Stephanie Phillips was inducted into our organization in the Class of 2004, was honored by the "Visa Hall of Fans" as the Philadelphia Eagles Ultimate Fan of 2003, and was inducted posthumously into the Pro Football's Ultimate Fan Association "Ring of Honor" in 2024.

The office of the Secretary within PFUFA is one of those "un-sung, thankless, and put-upon" jobs that no one really wants to do--much like most organizations.  It is not a glamorous role, and it requires lots of effort.  It takes a special person, and one member held this office longer that any member ever held ANY office in the history of our organization.

Here are some of the many duties of the Secretary (Stephanie):  shall attend to all correspondence of the organization; keep the minutes and records of the organization; file any certificate or documents required by any statute, federal or state; give and serve all notices to members of this organization; act as official custodian of the records and seal of this organization; send E-mail updates to all members; maintain and update PFUFA member e-mail list; and coordinate Timkin Parade Float.

Stephanie Phillips served this organization as Secretary for 11 years--the longest serving officer.  Thank you, Stephanie.  She was first elected to office in 2008 and stepped down in 2018.  During that time, she served under three presidents, five vice presidents, five membership officers, and three treasurers.  Through most of the 2010's, Stephanie was our rock.

In 2018, Stephanie was nominated and elected to the Board of Directors where she served as a director for the maxim allotted time of three terms (six years).

She was an avid golfer, and was the leader of our Annual Nelson Titter Golf Tournament at the reunions..  She was a 35-year season ticket holder for the Eagles., and never missed a PFUFA Reunion.  She has also been to all 32 NFL Stadiums, a game in London, and two Super Bowls.

Stephanie is the two-time awardee of the Jason “Beardown J” "Carlson Courage Award" in 2008 and 2024 and was awarded the Tommy Nola “Bellringer Friendship Award" in 2011.

Due to failing health, Stephanie M. Phillips passed away surrounded by family on June 11th, 2024.  There was an overwhelming support and attendance by the organization at her services--of course in game day attire.  This was her final request.
